China’s Puppy Robotics now announces that they’re launching their newest product called the Puppy Cube, a laser projector that can make any flat surface spring into life by becoming a touchscreen with all its capabilities.
Puppy Cube Makes Any Surface Interactive
What makes it different from other standalone laser projectors, you might ask? Puppy Cube isn’t just any ordinary gadget that projects HD images on surfaces. It also comes with touchscreen capabilities, its own speakers and you don’t even need to have a stylus to operate it.
Anyone can use this invention – families, business executives, teachers, gamers, digital artists, travelers, the possibilities are endless.
Do you like to cook but don’t know how to follow recipes on your countertop without making a mess on your tablet? Puppy Cube comes to the rescue. Let’s not forget the obvious. You can stream a movie onto your wall and watch it alone or with your family and friends. Moreover, you don’t even need to plug in the speakers.
This gadget eliminates the need for impractical laptop/computer cables all over the place. Puppy Cube has immense use potential for educational purposes in classrooms or in business meetings for presenting ideas, analyses, charts, you name it.
Puppy Cube Specs
This interesting new gadget comes equipped with a 36mm dual stereo sound, and 300 lumens of light power. It is Miracast-, AirPlay-, and DLNA-compatible. Heck, you can even run apps directly from the projector as it has Android 6.0.
Fruthermore, it weighs only 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg), with dimensions 5.2 x 3.4 x 8.4 inches (132 x 86 x 213 mm). It features MStar 6A938 quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
The laser display technology comes from Texas Instruments and is fully compatible with Full HD, 2K, ad 4K. The recommended size of the screen projection is 23-40 inches, but it can stretch up to 100 inches.
However, the battery will give you only 150 minutes of activity. So if you’re planning to watch Titanic, be ready to interrupt your movie at least once to recharge. Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11ac Wi-Fi dual receivers, USB 3.0, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, all ensure seamless connectivity.
