Protect your Smartphone with Style: Spigen Cases

-

Smartphone covers are a great way to customize your phone and also protect it from damage. Let’s face it – our communication devices nowadays are a little bit of an investment and not easy on everybodies budget, right? So a cover is a good way of protecting your investment and extend its lifetime without it getting worn down.

Generic Advantages of Smartphone Covers

What are some generic benefits of using a cover or case for your device? Well as previously stated, the primary functions would be to protect the device from damage and making it look a little special and how you want it to look.

A lot of people are not excited by the current smartphone designs and with a cover they can just change the look of their smartphone very easily. You could even buy several covers, several styles, several colors and change the case fitting to the occasion. Why not the red one today? I feel like red!

Also some people sell their old phone to get a little help on saving enough money for a new one every once in a while. If you never used a case for your smartphone the re-sale value of your device is going to be close to zero after two years of power-use. If you protected your device from damages, scratches and even avoided broken touchscreen display glass, you can re-sell it for a lot more – all you needed to do was buy a cover for little money and protect your device that costed you big time money.

Spigen Smartphone Cases

spigen-logo-irvine-caIf you are looking for smartphone cases with a modern look’n’feel to it and cases that greatly protect your smartphone from damages on the frame, camera lens and on the display glass, the Spigen smartphone case portfolio might be for you. Spigen is a U.S. based company and their products are stated to be designed in Irvine, California and are made in Korea.

The product quality is good and seems very durable on top of it’s sleek design. Mostly the covers of Spigen excel at protecting your investment and all you have to do is pick the one that appeals most to you. Personally I went with the shimmery white Spigen Case Slim Armor CS for the Samsung Galaxy S5 because it really reminded me of the Starwars Stormtrooper armor plating design but we picked you some curious covers for you to take a look at but make sure you check out their whole shop because they got a lot more than these here.

Case Slim Armor CS

The Case Slim Armor CS that is not such a slim armor actually turns your phone into a little bit more bulky mode and also adds a little bit of weight. However I yet prefer it over all the other options due to its great design and protection qualities. On top of that it has a storage for up to two credit cards (or other cards in the popular format), which I fell in love with quiet quickly. You can for example put your credit card and your ID in your phone and on many occasions you don’t even need to carry around your wallet with you. If you are not the type for credit card payments and more of a classic person, the storage space should be sufficient for a small notebook and a small pen as well.

Case Slim Armor View

The main feature of the Case Slim Armor View is the front cover that protects the display as well as the rest of the smartphone. There is a small window though through which you are able to do minimal operations such as accepting a call, checking the time or control the music playback when you are in the lockscreen. With the 360° Hinge you are able to turn the front cover around and all the way back without any resistance or risking to break the connector. On top of that the Case Slim Armor View utilises the inbuilt lockscreen sensor and can turn the standby of the smartphone on and off depending on the state of the flip cover.

Case Tough Armor

The Spigen Case Tough Armor is the cover for heavy duty and outdoor aficionados. It ultimately protects your handheld device. It protects against scratches on front and back. It utilises a special soft feel coating with anti-slip function so you don’t drop the smartphone even after a sweaty workout (which is good – go be active and healthy!). The all-round protection of the case are customized for each smartphone type and allow for an optimal way of handling the hardware buttons like power and volume control. It does not feel cheap – it just works like its designed directly from the manufacturer.

Summary

Besides these very modern armor cases Spigen also offers just the protection of display screens and also has some nice leather smartphone cases in their portfolio. The armor cases need some getting used to and I absolutely agree they make your phone a little more bulky but I kept my Spigen cover and really like it. Also after absolutely smashing my last smartphone, I really feel safe with the cover as it is right now. My recommendation is for you to buy your favorite Spigen cover on their Amazon shop and try it out within the usual 30 days that Amazon allow you and send it back if you are not satisfied. I however think you are going to keep it because you will start to love it just like I did.
