Not everybody considers the Japanese traditional brand to be on par with Sony and Microsoft. Yet, no matter how you want to think about Nintendo and their more or less family-friendly safe space, they still do well both in hardware sale as well as game sale year to year, and there is no indication of them slowing down anytime soon.
