Many are keen to get their hands on the latest title by CD PROJEKT RED called Cyberpunk 2077. If the original plan would have worked out, we could already be playing it by now. However, the developer first announced a delay spanning to September 2020, and now they have updated the target release date to be November 19th, 2020. The game will be available for current-gen platforms on release and for next-gen consoles as they become available.
On the other hand, it is not that surprising to see projects in 2020 to be delayed. This is unfortunate but a common side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is, however, new video material to be shared. CD PROJEKT RED has shared the new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer titled “The Gig,” and there is also an announcement of an upcoming Netflix Original Anime series. The show will be called CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS and will be produced by the Japan-based animation company, studio TRIGGER, and is planned for 2022. You can find both videos embedded below.
