Arcade1Up Announces New Product Line

-

It’s been less than three years since Arcade1Up, the leading home retro gaming entertainment company owned by Tastemakers LLC, sold its three millionth machine — that’s more than all the machines sold in the 1980s and 1990s combined.

Accomplishments so far

One of Tastemakers LLC and Arcade1Up CEO Scott Bachrach’s proudest accomplishments is to have created an entirely new category in gaming that lets people relive that golden era of arcade gaming by building one themselves. As a result of Arcade1Up’s development into new product categories with the Infinity Game Table and Arcade1Up Jr line, revenues grew by 80% in 2021.

Infinity Game Table

Until now, the board gaming industry had been an analog experience. With the Infinity Game Table (IGT), the gameplay is modernized with a touch screen and online experience with haptic input.

IGT offers an immersive round-the-table experience like nothing else before it and, over the course of the past year, its catalog of games has grown by more than double its original size. Currently, it comprises more than 40 titles, with classics as Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic.

Arcade1Up Jr

Arcade1Up Jr (JR) isn’t just about introducing kids to the magic of arcade gaming. It is designed to help children improve their motor abilities. By allowing adjustable game modes and custom-developed games, the JR innovates a new way for kids to play that’s specific to their style.

Expansions and new products

To further celebrate this milestone of selling 3 million machines, Arcade1Up introduced the Arcade1Up Pro Series and the Legacy Edition Line Expansion during CES 2022.

It is Arcade1Up’s evergreen category that provides the most value for fans of the Legacy Edition Line. This year, the Arcade1Up Legacy Edition will get updated with WiFi capabilities to allow for online coop gaming or high score leaderboards as well as over-the-air. Compared to the previous machine that had only 12 games, the up the Legacy Editions’ machines will include 14. The Legacy titles scheduled for release this April 2022 are the following:

Aside from that, the company’s new product line, Arcade1Up Pro Series, will have the largest screens to date among Arcade1Up’s machines at 19 inches. It will also have Suzohapp buttons and joysticks, faux metal t-molding, updated speakers and speaker grills, and other features.

Arcade1Up plans to release many Pro Series arcade games throughout 2022, including Killer Instinct, scheduled for a Summer release. This will incorporate updates such as WiFi-enabled online remote play as well as artwork and true-to-scale arcade design.
