Handheld gaming has been here for decades and is experiencing renewed mainstream popularity. While mobile gaming is the trend because of its accessibility, nothing still beats the experience of having a handheld console. A few weeks ago, AOKZOE released their gaming console, the A1.
What makes it unique
With popular handheld consoles like Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, you have to wonder what makes AOKZOE’s A1 special. This console is one of the first handhelds powered with an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor and will be the first mass-produced for the public. The processor is an 8-core, 16-thread built with ZEN 3+ CPU cores and 12-core graphics.

AOKZOE’s A1 has a display of 8″ with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. The company built the console with PC and ABS material from SABIC, both sustainable plastic materials. Meanwhile, its cooling system is made with pure aluminum for the fin and pure copper for the cooling pipe to avoid overheating the device.
Another thing that makes this handheld console unique is its RGB breathing lights. You can find the light bar on each side of the console and it is customizable. It currently has three modes and 20 light effects to choose from. It also supports fast charging, so you don’t want to wait long to game with AOKZOE’s A1.

AOKZOE’s A1 is currently available as a Kickstarter preordered and is scheduled to deliver the products by September 2022. As of this writing, it has a massively successful campaign totaling over $1.1 million in pledges which goes over its target of $12,757.
If you want to try this out, you still have 9 days to preorder AOKZOE’s A1, starting at around $900. As for colors, you can have your pick of Lunar White or Quantum Blue version.
