Now you might think, “testing a heater in the middle of the Summer, are you bananas?”. Okay, true, I am located in the northern hemisphere, and currently, it’s quite hot, but we used subterranean rooms that are naturally cold to test this device, and don’t forget there are many people living in the southern hemisphere as well, where it is currently Winter and for them, the timing for this article couldn’t be better, as they might be currently checking for solutions to get right away. Beyond that, the next Winter is coming – I promise.
Unboxing and first impressions
Upon receiving the Premium Eco Smart Heater from AENO, our team was immediately impressed by its sleek packaging and minimalist design. The ultra-slim, hardened glass housing measures just 11 mm in thickness, giving the device a modern and sophisticated appearance. The seamless design, devoid of any visible screws or metal parts on the front panel, adds to its clean and uncluttered look.
Installation and setup
The installation process for the Premium Eco Smart Heater is relatively straightforward. The versatile heater can be either placed on the floor using a stand or mounted on the wall, allowing it to adapt to various interior settings. Moreover, the device is available in both black and white color options, ensuring it blends seamlessly with any interior style. I can also confirm that personally, they easily blend in any existing interior design with these color options.
Once the heater is installed, users can control it through an accompanying app. The only physical button present is the power button, while all other controls, such as temperature settings and scheduling, are managed through the app. This further enhances the minimalistic design and user experience. However, some users might find the lack of physical controls limiting, as they would prefer to adjust the temperature without relying on an app.

During our testing period, we found that the heater was able to warm up the room effectively, albeit at a slightly slower pace compared to other smart heaters using 2000 Watts, as it consumes only around 700 Watts of electricity, this is why this is the “eco” advantage in comparison to other technologies.
This means, the way AENO’s technology works provides a more comfortable warmth, as opposed to the intense heat experienced with some other heating solutions, which can feel overwhelming and uncomfortable and they need less energy to do so. The device creates a more evenly distributed warmth in the room, making the overall experience more pleasant for users. It is recommended for rooms with 30 m² or less space in size, per unit.
Potential drawbacks
