Yahaha Studios: A Community for Gamers and Game Creators

-

A Finnish company called Yahaha Studios recently launched its mobile and PC application where gamers and creators can coexist. The app draws elements from real and virtual life and lets people create, publish, share, and play games. Yahaha Studios is an online user-generated content platform that received funding of $50 million this January.

With the funding, the company wants to usher in more gaming content that harnesses the potential of metaverse technology. The present $38.85 billion metaverse industry is seen to grow at a CAGR growth of 39.4% this decade.

No-code gaming studio

With the gaming studio app, the company hopes to empower many more creators and gamers to create gaming content. The Yahaha gaming studio does not require any coding and requires a free sign-up. The games that can be played or created on the app are free. The no-code environment comes with a pre-set asset that can be used to create games. The gaming assets include templates, 3D objects, audio, visual effects, and more that can be placed in the space that a user creates.

Publish and play your own game

The Yahaha Studios app lets its users create online social communities to connect with people from all over the world. You can also meet new people, chat with the creators, and make new friends. The app has many user-generated content games that can be played. While games can be played both on the PC and the mobile app, when it comes to game creation, it only works on the PC app.

The game creation experience in the Yahaha Studios app was, in my opinion, easy and fun. However, it can also slow down your system, which was my case. The objects in the template that one chooses can be viewed, placed, and scaled with the help of the tools provided in the creator space. The app also lets one choose an avatar to play with and one can also add dialogues to the game.
