Like most holiday seasons, this season has been swamped with ideas to give presents to loved ones. Whether it is meaningful tech gifts or curating presents, delivering packages will never go out of season. The past few years have also seen a spike in demand for courier services, which is why there are new courier solutions to choose from, including those for returning packages. One of these is WAAPIS.
Waapis is an Urdu word that means “to return” which is what WAAPIS does with the help of their iOS or Android app. All you have to do is to keep your package at your doorstep for the service’s driver to pick it up. However, the app may not be available in all regions.
How to “WAAPIS” packages?
After downloading the WAAPIS app, you can schedule a pickup, wrap your package, and leave it at the doorstep. The driver will just come and pick it up. The app also lets you track the package until it is returned to the seller. Every package will be assigned a unique Package ID which the user will have to write on the wrapping paper.
The pickup requests can also be canceled, but only before the driver has accepted the request. The request can’t be canceled after the driver has already accepted the return request. WAAPIS also lets the user talk to the delivery person to know the status of the return.
Become a WAAPIS driver
With WAAPIS, one can also become a driver to pick up and return packages. All that needs to be done is to register with the app and, after a background check, an email will be sent to confirm registration.
The payment will happen 24 hours after the drop-off has been verified. Drivers will also be allowed to cancel the pickup trip. However, after too many cancellations, the driver will get a negative rating on Waapis.
