Taiwan-based VNS Inc. launches its latest 8K/1K GeoBox processors for video-walls and projection at ISE 2020. GeoBox is a range of standalone one-box processors for controlling video wall content and multiple edge-blending outputs from multiple projectors.
Fujifilm partners with VNS and will use GeoBox at ISE. They will show the first demonstration of their new ultra-short-throw (UST) FP-Z5000 projector with a two-axial rotatable lens.
The collaboration of VNS and Fujifilm
One notable aspect of GeoBox is that it’s a computer in itself. It can control digital content, managing different types of inputs or formats with no need for a separate PC. The M800 and M800EX GeoBoxes are the world’s first hardware projection mapping solutions. These two are perfect for switching various source contents from one to the other.
This also helps cut down on costs for additional embedded projectors or media servers previously used in this process. This also helps AV professionals as they will find it easier to create through the new GeoBox. This includes 8K multi-projection images, implement digital mapping and edge blend, crop images and set overlap pixels, and geometrically adjust images without the need for other media servers.

VNS also debuts its latest GeoBox video wall control solution
It seems there is a road to firsts during this year’s ISE. Aside from showing the first demo of the world’s first UST with a rotating lens, VNS has also announced the debut of its latest GeoBox video wall. This video wall control hardware can work with a 360-image-rotation projector to edge-blend, allowing users to control multiple video wall displays at any angle, without the need for any additional software.
“We’re delighted to be able to showcase our latest GeoBox solutions at ISE 2020. There’s nothing available on the market like them, and AV professionals are going to enjoy reduced costs, easier installation and even more immersive and creative video-wall and edge-blending experiences once they start using them”, said VNS Inc. CEO Steve Wang.
Makoto Tomiyama, General Manager for Fujifilm Optical Devices Europe GmbH also commented on the joined demonstration of VNS and Fujifilm at ISE 2020: “We’re excited to be working with VNS at ISE 2020 to recommend GeoBox edge-blending processor solutions to integrators deploying our new FP-Z5000 projector for multi-projector installations.” He is confident that the GeoBox working in tandem with multiple FP-Z5000 projectors can create “totally immersive solutions” for their customers.
ISE is one of the most important pro-AV shows in the world, and this year it takes place in Amsterdam, from February 11-14.
