In Elden Ring, similar to previous Dark Souls games, the character you create is mainly covered in armor, and the helmet basically covers most of the face. This, however, is also applicable to many hostile and even friendly NPCs (non-player characters) in the game. This is sometimes disappointing, but as far as armor usage goes, this makes sense, of course. There’s little reason to wear metal armor all over your body but leave the head exposed to attacks.

This is why I found it very interesting that Zullie the Witch prepared videos that would showcase both hostile and friendly NPCs and how they actually look if you unmask them. Zullie is an expert in titles of the developer FromSoftware and even before the release of Elden Ring, there have been many exciting videos on their YouTube channel. If you enjoy this sort of in-depth content, you can also check out the accounts on Twitter and the YouTube channel for more Elden Ring updates.
