Twitter and Riot Games Will Live-Stream the "League of Legends: League of Origin" eSports Tournament

Sydney, Australia / San Francisco, US, May 30 — Riot Games is working together with Twitter to stream live from an eSports tournament in Australia to gamers all over the world. On the 3rd and 4th of June, 2017, League of Legends (LoL) gamers from the Oceanic Pro League (OPL) and Oceanic Challenger Series (OCS) will compete in the ESL Studios in Sydney.

They call it League of Legends: League of Origin and the tournament organizer is Riot Games Oceania. They will stream a video feed for two days and 16 hours with live programming. Gamers and eSports enthusiasts from all over the world will be able to easily watch the event live on Twitter and tweet their comments about it as they watch.

How to join?

All you need to do is to open the link leagueoflegends.twitter.com and enjoy. People tuning in can also use hashtags in tweets to show their support to their favorite teams along with special emoji that are displayed automatically next to the hashtag. The event hashtag is #LoLOrigin and the teams can be mentioned via #NSWWIN, #NZWIN, #QLDWIN and #VICWIN.
