Most people have a problem with keeping their backs straight when they use their laptop or PC for long periods of time. It’s better to stay mobile and get up and change positions sometimes. Thankfully, people are more aware of this enough to push companies to provide better equipment that won’t affect their users negatively. One company is obVus Solutions with its foldable keyboard, the Minder portable folding Bluetooth keyboard, also stylized as “minder.”

Functionality in mind

The biggest selling point of the Minder keyboard is its convenience. Users can simply fold it up and take it wherever they need to go. The design is slim, meaning that it easily fits in your bag, briefcase, or purse. It can also connect to Bluetooth, including tablets, laptops, smartphones, and computers. What’s more, users can connect the keyboard with different devices simultaneously.

Aside from that, the Minder keyboard has an in-built touchpad, lessening the burden of taking a clunky mouse everywhere. Its keys are highly responsive to light touch and are made up of a material that resists the usual wear and tear to a certain degree, making it durable.

Though it has many pros, the Minder keyboard does have some cons. First, it doesn’t have a backlight, so if you need to work at night, you won’t find this very convenient. Second, the keyboard needs a flat surface to lie on so you can work properly, meaning you can’t place it on your lap while working.

It has a battery capacity that will get you through about 40 working hours on a single charge. That may not sound a lot, but if you’re using it as an emergency keyboard while you’re out, that’s more than enough time to do all your work in a day. If you want to try it out, the Minder keyboard costs $44.99.
