14-November, Munich – Siemens has announced to acquire the US-based design automation and industrial software provider Mentor Graphics for $37.25 per share. Mentor Graphics is known to be one of the leading innovators in the market scaling from Integrated Circuit (IC) and System-on-Chip (SoC) design to automotive electronics solutions.
With the acquisition of Mentor Graphics the traditional German corporation Siemens is trying to further shape their portfolio to match their visions for 2020 and incorporate Mentor’s technology stacks into their solution catalog.
