Over time it became clear that the solution should be a holistic one. Customers don’t want to buy a signage display from one vendor, the content player from another vendor, the content from a design agency, the integration or support from a managed services provider, and so on.

Solution providers and manufacturers understood that and try to simplify modern digital signage technology as good as they can with integrations and better usability. This targets not only enterprises and big retail franchises but also small and medium-sized businesses (SMB).

At the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2019 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Samsung had unveiled their latest tech in this market segment and that, of course, includes their two new in-window display (semi-outdoor digital signage) products, OMN and OMN-D.
