Samsung Galaxy S6: Latest Flagship out Now

-

As a major competitor to Apple’s iPhone, Samsung Galaxy always seems to have something up its sleeve, and this year the Samsung Galaxy S6 is no different. There are numerous interesting technologies included in this nice device. First, it’s important to note that the phone has a great and fully functional fingerprint sensor as well as support for Samsung Pay.

At the same time, the 5.1 size is more than enough for the modern consumer, not to mention the massive resolution which, despite not being that much improved from the previous version, still remains very impressive. The use of Gorilla Glass 4 does impress however, and it makes the device even more durable.

The octa-core CPU is comprised out of a 2,1 GHz Quad-Core + 1,5 GHz Quad-Core, and the GPU is a Mali-T760MP8, which many consider as the best on the market.

It’s a bummer that Samsung Galaxy S6 removes the ability to have a card slot, as this is a major downside, but the internal memory is more than enough thanks to the 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB models, not to mention that the 3GB of RAM are also quite enough for what normal users need.

Moreover, the camera in Samsung Galaxy S6 is quite good too, as 16MP are more than enough for taking high quality images. The video quality is also quite nice, with many FPS for its UHD videos.

At the same time, Samsung Galaxy S6 does seem to come with OneDrive storage for free, as well as some other unique features. It’s important to note that unlike the previous versions of the Samsung Galaxy, this one doesn’t allow the batteries to be exchanged. This, combined with the lack of an SD card shows that Samsung might be shifting its core ideals towards something similar to what Apple is doing for years now.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is a durable and reliable product. Not only it manages to look cool, but at the same time it brings a lot of performance locked under the hood, so it still is one of the most interesting phones to purchase nowadays. The only thing you have to decide is whether you’d like a standard version or an Galaxy S6 Edge with curved borders. This little gem is planned to be released today so go out there and check it out.
