Robots that offer a helping hand in kitchens are becoming increasingly popular. The robotic market is installing these robots on both small and large scales. While the food robotics market takes care of the picking, packaging, and stacking food and beverages, the cooking robotics market deals with cooking the meals.
The robotic kitchen market is diverse and has a lot of room for innovation. Whether bartending in Los Angeles by the Tipsy robot or serving a warm cup of coffee in Singapore by Ella the robotic barista, the market has had ideas and robotic applications. Here are other companies aiming to help automation in the food industry.
MiFood
One such automation solution for restaurants and agriculture comes from a Madrid-based company, MiFood. They focus on empowering restaurants and farms through automation.
The company aims to adhere to the safety and hygiene of the food, especially after the COVID-19 global outbreak. The lockdowns have also affected the economies of many businesses, especially restaurants. The MiFood robot can cook and serve beverages, helping restaurants reduce labor costs by 50% while adhering to food safety and hygiene.
