Back in the day, Andy Grove, former Intel CEO, designed a business management framework that would later be known as OKR (Objectives and Key Results). Due to the method’s success all around the world, many large enterprises began to adopt this methodology and benefited from it ever since.
In this presentation, Rick Klau, a partner from the Google Ventures Startup Lab, explains how they set up strategic goals at Google, following the OKR methodology, and how they developed this practice since they started using it in 1999 when John Doerr joined Google from Intel.
The video itself is already five years old, but trust me, these 90 minutes can help to turn around a whole organization for the better. Have fun!
