NovaCast Improves Healing of Broken Bones [Video]

-

In our featured video today, we wanted to introduce you to the Mexican MedTech company MediPrint and their work. This clip was producer by INSIDER and shows how the MediPrint technology is used to 3D-print medical healing gear like casts for broken limbs. This “NovaCast” (link in Spanish) is custom-made to perfectly fit the body of the patient for advanced comfort, better fixation and healing potential. Less itching, less smelling, sounds good to me. Great use case to further support 3D printing technology in general and definitely a great alternative to traditional orthopedic plaster casts.

This 3D printed cast is revolutionizing how we heal broken bones
