METHOD-2 Mech Can Be Piloted From Inside [Video]

-

The METHOD-1 mech, which we briefly saw in Instagram posts from 2016, is now back with some new footage and in high resolution. Autoblog visited Yang Jin-Ho, chairman of Hankook Mirae Technology, in Korea and they even got to control it from inside as mech pilot. How cool is that?

What we can see here now is the METHOD-2 mech, which is allegedly the first robot in the world that can be piloted from inside, in order to freely move around. It’s still being tested only within an engineering facility for R&D, with cables attached to it from the ceiling, meaning that possibly there is no good portable energy source available yet.

So all in all, this is a great piece of engineering, but it might take some more time to see these boys running around on the street. What do you think? Enjoy!
