LinkedIn Introduces New ‘Conversation Starters’ Feature

-

6-December, Sunnyvale – Not sure how to talk to new connections on LinkedIn? They are now releasing a new feature, called “Conversation Starters”, to support your first impression and simplifying starting a direct conversation with others.

Microsoft is closing the formal activity on their acquisition of LinkedIn and that’s not all. While it may seem unrelated to the acquisition, LinkedIn also pushes out changes and new features to their instant messaging service. A new feature that reminds us of similar systems, leveraging context information to support user experience and communication functions.

The feature lets you make use of a new tab in the “LinkedIn chat service”, represented by a light bulb icon. It then offers you a variety of pre-written phrases, leveraging data about your relationship with your contact.
