LG was no stranger to InfoComm. However, this year, the company intended to make its presence at the show truly memorable. According to David Bacher, the head of Marketing for LG Solutions USA, the 10,400-square-foot booth where they showcased their products was “our largest presence ever at InfoComm”. The size of their booth did not intend to impress solely by its size. The technology presented showed how versatile and adaptable their products could be in every type of environment.
InfoComm: What’s that about?
InfoComm is an annual professional audiovisual (AV) and systems integration tradeshow event. The InfoComm event provides a platform for major AV system integrators to showcase their products, discuss current trends in the industry, and open up opportunities for collaboration across organizations. This year’s InfoComm was held in Orlando, Florida, in the US. Overall, the event provided a great opportunity for AV system integrators to learn more about the latest technologies available in the market.
Elevating the experience
Bacher shared that LG’s display at this year’s InfoComm presented the added value that digital display technology could bring to various settings. During the event, he said they “offered a first-hand look at how our digital signage solutions and related technologies elevated the experience in boardrooms, retail stores, restaurants, education, virtual media production studios, control rooms, public art installations, and more.”
LG’s InfoComm booth expected to draw in visitors with its products. In the Digital Art zone, an enormous 272-inch LG Magnic Micro Led display presented 8K footages for visitors to view. At the other end of the booth, people could see a digital sculpture made by combining eight 55-inch transparent OLED displays. This was not the first time the tech company used its screens to enhance art. But it was not the only thing to be admired.
LG’s MAGNIT Display was also showcased and utilized in the booth to demonstrate how their technology boosted work environments. It helped visitors discover how a virtual video studio worked and its various applications. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore the media boardroom, which featured the widest variety of displays. With their offerings, they aimed to impress visitors at InfoComm this year.
LG’s presence at InfoComm 2023 worked out great. Many people were impressed by their innovative solutions and the level of detail they put into their product demonstrations. Visitors were able to experience the best in display technology, from the MAGNIT Display to the Digital Sculpture made up of eight 55-inch transparent OLED displays. By showcasing their products, LG was able to provide a glimpse into what the future of display technology holds.
