HUENIT: The AI Modular Robotic Arm to Help Your Ideas Become Reality

HUENIT is a robotic arm that uses AI to do a number of things that can help creators bring their imagination to reality. Equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth options, users can link their devices to the robot and control it wirelessly. It also has a built-in vacuum pump, creating a suction tool with an available suction cup of 5mm, 10mm, and 15mm.

Here are some of the major features of the HUENIT.

AI Camera

The HUENIT’s AI camera comes with a 64-bit processor, and all accelerators support real-time image recognition. It also has a voice recognition option with a robust microphone. Once the photo is identified by the tool, it never forgets it.

Moreover, its voice recognition performance is also exceptional. It perfectly identifies any sounds. HUENIT’s camera can be connected to open-source hardware such as  Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and UART port. It has the following specs:

  • 30 fps real-time machine vision with TensorFlow
  • 2.4″ Touch Display
  • 0.5w speaker and mems mic
  • 60 RGB led matrix (LED animation)

3D Printer module

The HUENIT is nifty for small prints and works the same as any 3D printer. The tool is attached to the robot arm, which has a 40W heater and dual cooling system to help with the printing process.

Pen-holder module

This robotic arm can also help in creating drawings, calligraphy, and more with its pen-holder module. All HUENIT needs is a pen or any writing materials to do its task. This can be helpful to illustrators or designers who need to create multiple reiterations of a certain drawing.

Creator module

Final thoughts

Personally, I think that the HUENIT provides multiple opportunities, especially in utilizing the pen-holder to write or draw when needed. While it is priced at a whopping $1,199, the features are promising enough.

At the moment, HUENIT has been successfully backed at both Kickstarter and Indiegogo. It’s expected to ship out during the latter half of 2022.
