How Many Potatoes Does It Take to Run Doom? [Video]

-

“Does it run DOOM?” has been a type of meme for a while. The objective here is to try to run the classic game DOOM on random electronic devices, which were clearly not made to run video games. This could be a printer, a Peloton, a smart TV, or even an edge computing device. It’s become more of an engineering challenge than it’s about simply playing a video game. It’s about achievement.

In the video below things can be a little trickier, however. In the clip from Equalo, you can watch DOOM running on a calculator, but it sources power from potatoes. What? I know right. Okay, have fun!
