This video demonstrates Google’s software capabilities on translating languages with live processing via the camera of a smartphone. Coming directly from Google this isn’t exactly objective but it is not a vision statement either. This is actually what they have achieved and if you cut a second of processing time for the translation of the words from one language into another, it comes pretty close to what you can see here in this video.
This is particularly useful for people who are travelling and also for expats who live and work in foreign countries and are still learning the local language. This is a lovely way of presenting how the solution works and also … it’s La Bamba. It’s basically pre-approved. 🙂
