In January 2017, Logitech decided to put a new gaming mouse on the market called the G203 Prodigy. It was mostly designed for gamers that like simple designs and paying less money for their mouse. Now, Logitech has released a newer version of this gaming mouse line.
New Lightsync features
The new G203 Lightsync has a six-button design that’s present in a lot of Logitech mouses. Using the Logitech G HUB software, you can program the mouse to fit your gaming needs.
The software itself features a clean and modern interface. With it, you can change the mouse’s DPI or color pattern. You can also customize every button on your mouse to use a different function from this interface.
Logitech G’s Vice President and General Manager Ujesh Desai acknowledged the ever-rising growth of the gaming landscape for all ages. In regards to this, he stated that they wanted to “develop a mouse that gave all gamers access to some of our most innovative technology”.
The G203 Lightsync has a range of 200 to 8,000 DPI, with a 32-bit ARM microprocessor inside of it. It is also important to mention that the report rate of this mouse is 1000 per millisecond. This means that you get a faster response with this mouse.
G203 LIGHTSYNC is ready to play with gaming-grade sensor, customizable LIGHTSYNC RGB, and classic 6-button design that’s great for performance and comfort. #KeepPlaying https://t.co/QdjOyijllE pic.twitter.com/pzxAckq7Xw

It also weighs only about 84 grams, making it easier to handle. The cable is long and is measured around 2 meters, so you can use it freely. The mouse also has a 2-year warranty.
A lot of review articles say that this mouse looks like a copy of G203 Prodigy and that they don’t see any improvements to it. I guess we will have to wait and see. The Logitech G203 Lightsync is available for $39.99.
