What would you give to come back from the dead? Would you pay millions to see a dearly departed loved one again? How about waking up in a world where a cure for the illness that killed you exists? Sounds like a sci-fi movie, however, it seems that we’re already at the infancy stage of bringing it to reality.
Tomorrow Bio, a company based in Berlin, Germany, is promising to make human cryopreservation possible. The company is spearheaded by a team of doctors, engineers, and researchers. But first, what is cryopreservation, why would anyone want to do it, and how much will it cost you?
@tomorrowbio is the world's fastest-growing cryopreservation provider. Over 250 members have joined our vision since we started sign-ups last year and we’re only just getting started. #cryonics #biostasis #longevity

All about cryopreservation
Tomorrow Bio describes cryopreservation, also called biostasis or cryonics, as an advanced medical procedure that puts a human into complete biological pause after their legal death. Think of it like finding Captain America alive and well after spending decades on ice. However, cryopreservation is a lot more complicated, without the super serum.
A number of reasons exist as to why an individual would like to freeze their human body. Tomorrow Bio mentions the purpose of freezing someone’s body is to preserve it until such time there is a medical advancement enough to cure them of any disease that has caused death. It is important to note that revival after the procedure is not guaranteed by the company, but would be done whenever possible in the future.
As for the question of whether anyone wants to preserve their body from death, there are definitely people who want that to happen. In 2016, a teenager who died from cancer had her body frozen in hopes to be revived and cured of the disease when the possibility arises. However, we have yet to see the outcome of that, given the lack of technology available to make such a feat possible. With companies like Tomorrow Bio, it’s a start.

Conclusion
Families of any dying individual hope to see the day their loved ones will again experience life without the burden of any disease. With cryopreservation, we might never again have to lose minds like Stephen Hawking or Steve Jobs. Explorers and researchers would have plenty of time to further their discoveries and inventions.
Others, with chance and resources, may want to undergo the procedure to achieve immortality and live again in a new era. They may be longing to experience and see the world at a different age. However, immortality is yet another thing that is not possible today. For now, Tomorrow Bio’s clients can choose to preserve their whole body or only their brain with a membership fee that costs €25/month. The cost is exclusive of funding for standby and storage fees which varies depending on the type of funding chosen, age, and health condition of the client.
At the moment, no medical or technological advancement has yet to revive an individual back from the dead. Each day though, we see innovations that we never thought were possible hundreds of years ago as proven by the rise of AI. No one knows what the future holds, so we’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves if human cryopreservation, as well as revival after, will come to fruition.
