Almost two years ago, we featured Nestron and its vision of redesigning homes for the future. Although the Singapore-based company is relatively young in the market, it quickly developed its name by providing affordable small smart houses with cutting-edge technology and modern yet classic designs. This time around, we will discuss the design features of one of their models, Legend Two.
The layout
Like all of its designs, Nestron’s Legend Two smart home features a stylish yet classical design with next-level coziness and spaciousness. Of course, it has its AI assistant that lets you control the house with your voice.
The Legend Two design has sharp, clean lines and specialized furniture to fit the edges and maximize space. It is a prefabricated house, and once you place the order, the complete, fully furnished house will be delivered to you.
One of the most aesthetic aspects of the Legend Two design is that it is surrounded by grand French windows which allow natural light to flow into the house. These windows also allow you to enjoy natural scenery while being in the coziness of your home. These windows give the house an elegant and timeless look, lightening the house and making it look more spacious. The windows are incorporated with low e-glass to minimize heat and UV rays from the sun. The double hollow of windows is also filled with argon gas for the same purpose.
The Legend Two design also features electrical windows blinds, a smart lock at the entrance, and a mechanical and electrical (M&E) room. The M&E room allows you to move all systems in one place. There is an additional door that leads to the M&E room at the back of the house so, in case of any emergency or maintenance, the maintenance personnel can do their job without disrupting your privacy. This setup also saves space to the maximum.
All of the interiors of the Legend Two design are termite resistant, so you don’t have to worry about pest control. The smart house comes in four colors: black, orange, brown, and white.
The house’s measurements is at 8500mm x 3000mm x 2800 mm (27.8 x 9.8 x 9.1 ft). It covers 25.5 sqm (274 sqft) of floor area. The layout of the Legend Two design includes a master bedroom, secondary bedroom, and bathroom. It also has a kitchen, bar counter, and living room that doubles as a dining area.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms of Legend Two have a built-in bed with mattresses to accommodate the sharp line and edges of the house. In addition, all the things that you might need like storage cabinets, bookshelf, study desk, and wardrobe are present in the bedroom. The cabinets are built into the walls to preserve floor space. There are motion sensor LED lights installed in the wardrobe, cabinets, and under the bed that will activate automatically when they sense motion. There are also spaces under the bed to keep your accessories and luggage.
Dining/Livingroom
The living room contains a retractable dining table to use only when needed, making the living room more spacious. The hydraulic system is installed on the dining table to ensure its smooth and efficient lifting. The Legend Two living room also contains a sofa to give you a comfy fit. You can also observe natural scenery while sitting on a comfortable sofa.
Kitchen
The kitchen of the Legend Two house features storage cabinets, a range hood, induction cooktop. There’s also a washing machine, an area for the mini-fridge (an additional add-on), and a sink and faucet for dishwashing. Additionally, there is a quartz countertop to give durability to the slab while providing an elegant look at the same time. The non-porous quartz slab is resistant to stains, scratches, and heat. These slabs are also easy to clean and maintain.
Bathroom
The bathroom of the Legend Two has a shower, smart toilet, water heater, ventilation fan, smart mirror, and basin and faucet. The bathroom is divided into two distinct areas: wet and dry. This makes it easier to prevent the whole bathroom from getting damp and moldy.
Conclusion
The Legend Two provides both comfort and space in a modern yet classy smart home. However, if you’re looking to purchase this design, you can expect it to be on the pricier side than the other Nestron smart house models. The official price for this type of unit starts at $73,600.
