For the past few years, people have been investing in having a good home Internet connection, especially for those working or studying from home. However, some homes have dead spots or areas where the WiFi connection is weaker. Some households also rely on one router or even several WiFi networks, which requires one to either stick to one spot or switch to another network when moving around the house.

Both scenarios are not very optimal. Personally speaking, when I used to live in a two-story home, I had difficulty connecting to our WiFi since we only had one router, not to mention that the house had several dead spots. This was especially frustrating when I needed to work from home. Thankfully, mesh WiFi routers on the market can provide a better connection without moving to another network. One mesh WiFi router that can do that is the Gryphon Tower, which boasts up to 3,000 sqft of reach.

Performance meets elegance

Gryphon prides itself on its products that can help prevent its users from digital dangers, including “screen time addiction…hackers, and personal privacy threats”. Gryphon Tower is one of their routers that uses the company’s firewall security technology to “provide safe internet access and management to all your household devices.”

The tri-band AC3000 device also claims to have an internet speed of 1.3 Gbps. Since it’s a mesh WiFi router, the Gryphon Tower is recommended for users who live in a home approximately 2,000 sqft big since it’s made to reach different parts of one’s home. Users can also choose to connect multiple towers wirelessly to it so that the WiFi connection can have a farther reach. However, take note that it can’t be used with the Gryphon AX mesh WiFi 6 model.

Just looking at the mesh WiFi router, the Gryphon Tower reminds me of a white version of an Xbox Series X, but with a literal twist to it. While the device can’t be hidden like normal routers, its minimalist aesthetic can merge well with the rest of your house décor. It may seem a bit bulky, but it still remains to look elegant.

Overall, the Gryphon Tower is for households that have a busy WiFi network. If you’re looking to upgrade your household WiFi connection, the device is available for $145 for one; availing of two would cost $299.
