Boston Dynamics’ Atlas Robot Ready for Industry? [Video]

Today we wanted to feature a video that has caused both a lot of positive and negative feedback. The company Boston Dynamics is maybe most known for their military carrier robot-mule ‘BigDog’, which did not really pass the field testing as it was too noisy for military operations. Boston Dynamics is owned by X (formerly known as Google X) and is a subsidiary of Alphabet, just like Google is.

While it is fascinating how well their latest version of the humanoid robot ‘Atlas’ works, it could be that this video below was the reason for X to put up Boston Dynamics for sale in an attempt to distance their strategy from replacing humans in the industry. For all of you who are yet interested in how Atlas performs in being a “worker”, check out the video below.
