Are Edible Water Bubbles the Future of Drinking? [Video]

-

We received a great reception on the recently published article on the biodegradable clothing by Swiss Designer FREITAG. Therefore we wanted to share yet another great idea on how we could potentially reduce the amount of waste we produce.

In this video Yuka Yoneda explains how an edible water “bottle” is made. The product is not quite a bottle, but I suppose it does contain its content after all. Perhaps the little bubble is not ready to replace traditional bottles yet but it’s an interesting approach. Will this be the future of hydrating yourself? If you enjoyed this video, you should also check out the webpage of Ooho, the full tutorial at Inhabitat, and Yuka’s blog on everything DIY.
