As Agoda’s Chief Technology Officer Idan Zalzberg puts it, “Travelers want simplicity and convenience. They shouldn’t need to manage separate bookings, payment processes, and confirmations.” To remedy that, the online travel agency has rolled out a new multi-product booking system that lets travelers arrange hotels, flights, and activities all in one checkout.
Organize trips in one platform
By using Agoda’s booking system, travelers can organize their travels via the My Trips section of the app. Here, they can rename these trips for easy viewing and a more organized digital space. Aside from this feature, the digital travel platform also announced other new updates, including real-time flight updates. This allows vacationers to see their flight status, along with gate, terminal, and check-in counter information.
Additionally, Agoda’s AI-powered tools allow users to search for a particular accommodation and view guest reviews to help users decide on the best option for them during their vacation. For iOS users, they can use the Gallery View to browse using photos to help them view hotel options. The app also expanded its language support for flight-related chat queries for Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, and Hong Kong-based users.

More than ever, people are raring to travel. Whether it’s for vacation, work, or an eat-pray-love kind of trip, the initial start of a journey will have its hurdles to overcome, and thankfully, apps like Agoda make it just a bit easier to do this. With the advantage of tech today, more seamless ways to plan, prepare, and explore for trips are available to wanderlust all over the globe.
