There’s no doubt that traveling is fun. However, the smaller details — like planning for the actual trip — can be a handful. The pandemic we experienced for the last 3 years shook the world to its core. Now that the world is starting to move again and restrictions are easing up in most countries, people are itching to travel again. That also means that the fear of the still-looming virus has also forced regions to put in additional requirements when travelers come to their city or country.
These additional requirements can be a bit overwhelming, depending on where you’re located. Despite all that, people are still excited to finally get out of their houses again and explore the world. To help you out in your post-pandemic travel goals, here are 3 apps that travelers can use to ease their anxiety and make way for an unforgettable trip.
TripIt
If you hate documents being scattered and all over the place, TripIt can help you with that. This digital organizer can make a travel itinerary for you as soon as the booking and reservation details are forwarded to their email address. It also has a navigation option to help you watch where you are going while on the trip.
Travelers have the option to get the free app or upgrade to TripIt Pro for more features like real-time flight alerts, refund notifications, and the ability to track rewards points and miles. The app is available for Android and iOS.

Clear Health Pass
One of the many adjustments we had to go through while traveling during a pandemic is to present a vaccination card while traveling. From airports to establishments, the need to present it frequently — if not always — arises. This app, available on Android and iOS, will hold your digital card for you, making sure it never gets misplaced or slip out of your pocket while strolling around. Just make sure it’s connected to your phone’s health app and you are good to go.

Calm
Even if most people are now comfortable going out of their homes, some are still cautious about possibly catching the virus. Going on a vacation with people who are also out to aggressively travel could result in overcrowding, especially in some popular tourist spots. Apart from the possibility of catching something from being in close proximity to strangers, that may also be a cause for anxiety. As such, it’s important to give yourself time to relax and shake away those negative vibes with apps like Calm. Downloadable for Android and iOS, the app has options for reducing stress, improving sleep, and others.

Start traveling
Traveling had changed with the pandemic but we can still make the best out of it. We may have to add a step or two to finalize our travel plans. Even with meticulous planning, some things just go awry in the most unexpected places and situations. However, with apps like TripIt, Clear Health Pass, and Calm, traveling can be a little bit easier. Once you take a dip in blue waters, climb a mountain’s peak to see a sea of clouds, or have a night out in the city makes the hassle of traveling worth it.
