We Played ‘AER: Memories of Old’ [Video]

-

AER: Memories of Old is a truly beautiful, calming, relaxing, and overall highly enjoyable game that was developed by Forgotten Key and published by Daedalic Entertainment. It’s simple but also deep in a way. You could play it to go on an adventure or as a means of meditation. We reviewed it on the Xbox One in the gameplay clip below, but it’s also available for Steam, GOG, and PlayStation 4 for around $14.99.

In the game itself, you play as a young pilgrim in a land up there in the clouds. On your journey, you have to pass from one flying island to the next, and to do so, it’s handy that you can instantly transform into a bird to freely roam the open world design and complete all kinds of puzzles. There is a bit of narrative and story to AER: Memories of Old but it’s not restrictive and you can just freely decide where you want to go next. Enjoy!
