Earlier today I spotted this interesting tutorial on how you can turn a Google Maps screenshot into a 3D map in Photoshop. Certainly this can be done in manual ways as well but the producer of this tutorial is talking about doing it all in the 3D Map Generator that goes by the name of, you guessed it, “Atlas”.
The plugin software isn’t free but I think that the German developer, The Orange Box, is selling their solutions for a fair price with a license cost of approximately $21. What do you think? Leave them a thumbs-up if you liked this tutorial and have fun building your neighborhood in 3D. Enjoy!
