Volkswagen Brakes for Pedestrians [Video]

Night mode

It’s almost time for the International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt, Germany. The IAA is one of the largest fair around cars and car related innovations worldwide. Next to many other new developments we liked the new Pedestrian Monitoring feature by Volkswagen (VW) the most.

As part of VW’s ‘Think New’ campaign they launched several promotional video which showcase their latest innovation but increasing safety for pedestrians and other traffic participants is worth a special mention and that’s why we wanted to share this little clip with you. Cars automatically breaking for other cars is great but automated brakes for pedestrians – that’s simply amazing. Good work, VW!
