Invisible Ink and Perpendicularity: The Expert Knows It All [Video]

A new comedy sketch named The Expert hit YouTube at the beginning of the year and it shows us the reality behind company meetings and how people which are thought of as experts in their field of work are treated. Scroll to the bottom to watch the full sketch.

Company representatives are relying on the people they hired to complete their tasks, no matter if they are impossible or not. Just like in this sketch, a lot of employees are thought of as experts and they always have to push the boundaries in order to achieve various things, even if they are not possible, which is indeed a problem.

Instead of listening to the employees and their needs, a lot of companies tend to think that because they pay them they don’t need to help in any way. Getting a task that is way out of reach or possibility is very hard for an employee, and this can cause stress or numerous other problems. On the other hand, the employer or the others in the managing department don’t seem to care, and they always add new and new layers to an already impossible task.

Unfortunately, this is the reality that a lot of people have to face nowadays, because employers seem to care less and less about how much they can change the life of a person with a simple task.

The sketch successfully manages to capture the whole essence of a disrespected employee that doesn’t receive a large paycheck, instead he has only the title of being an expert at what he does and the management team takes advantage of that. Millions and millions of people from all over the globe are experiencing this particular problem, and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a solution to all of this, at least not for the near future, which is indeed unfortunate.

As an employee in this situation you don’t have anything to do other than prove people you are an expert and solve the problem, no matter how intricate or hard it can prove to be. The main goal of any person is to go in a place where people don’t take advantage of their function, but this happens all over the world unfortunately. This sketch shows exactly how a person feels when he/she has to face a large task which might seem impossible at first. While it might help you increase your skill, on the other hand the whole job might not be that important in the first place.

This kind of attitude presented in this sketch is the main reason why a lot of people actually prefer to avoid any employment opportunity and instead they go with the self-employment option, where they can take their own decisions without having anyone to decide for them.

You need to watch The Expert to see if you are in a situation like that one. This simple sketch can open your eyes and it will even make you do something to change the whole deal. The sketch in itself is a remarkable video that’s fun to watch, but very, very true, so we encourage you to watch it.
