Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi Pro 10 Releases in China

Recently, the specs for the new Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi Pro 10 have been revealed. The phones have many improvements in design and performance from their predecessors. This also sets itself up as the next-generation standard for the company, with a cheap price point accessible to a wider array of users.

The specs

The phone consists of a high-end Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm and an Adreno 650 for graphics rendering. This processor also ensures that the phone has compatibility with 5G connectivity.

For the memory, we see an LPDDR5 RAM that varies from 8 GB to 12 GB, depending on the chosen model. Internal storage starts at 128 GB with different versions upping the capacity up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro also bring the UFS 3.0 standard into their internal storage.

The screen has AMOLED with FHD + resolution. Finally, the battery performance is supposedly at 4,780mAh for the Xiaomi Mi 10. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is at 4,500mAh. This puts the standard model for the Xiaomi Mi 10 to have a longer-lasting battery.

The Xiaomi 10 has fast wired and wireless charging at 30 W, as well as reverse charging at 10W for accessories. The Pro model has fast-charging by cable at 50W and at 30W if it is wireless, with reverse charging at 10W.

It has four rear cameras and a 108 MP image sensor, with 4-axis optical image stabilization in its main camera. As for the other 3 rear cameras, the Xiaomi Mi 10 has an 8 MP long telephoto lens, a 12 MP portrait camera, and a 20 MP Ultra Wide shooter. Xiaomi has also announced that the phone will be able to record in 4K quality.

The phone has already been released to the public in China, with a global release that was expected to be announced during the MWC 2020 conference. However, the cancellation of the event might also mean a delay in the announcement for it.
