Turn Dance Moves into Rewards and Donation with Desperados Dance Club

-

Desperados, a beer brewing company, revealed in a survey that dancing has the power to make people feel happier by 79% and transform a bad day into a good day by 69%. With this in mind, the company has decided to launch the revamped Desperados Dance Club, formerly Desperados’ Rave to Save initiative.

Dance anywhere, anytime

Dancing has been one of the oldest ways people could entertain themselves. It’s an activity that releases endorphins, most commonly referred to as happiness hormones, to also reduce stress levels. In fact, Desperados’ survey revealed that 82% of the respondents use dancing as a form of cathartic release. With the Desperados Dance Club app, you can dance while earning points and helping other people.

Available in both iOS and Android, Desperados Dance Club is the first app that lets users dance to earn rewards. In addition to this, cash earned while dancing and using the app can be used for fundraising events and donations to charities. Users can bust out their moves anywhere in the world at any time they want. The app also allows party-goers and dancers to check the nearest events to their location so they may enjoy the party outside their homes. Keep dancing to unlock app rewards such as VIP access, and festival tickets too.

Donate while dancing

The revamped Desperados Dance Club allows users to continue to donate towards Stonewall and Women in Music. Both organizations seek to promote inclusivity in the community; Stonewall advocates for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community while Women in Music is a non-profit organization established in 1985 committed to improving equality, opportunities, and visibility for women. Using smartphones to count dance steps, Desperados will donate €1 to these charities for every 100 steps done.

Prior to the Desperados Dance Club, the Desperados’ Rave to Save campaign in collaboration with We Are Pie in 2021 helped support Europe’s favorite nightclubs that were gravely affected by the economic crisis during the pandemic. Rave-goers used to come together for virtual parties and dance the night away to raise funds for eight European nightclubs. With the initiative, Deperados was able to raise and donate €165,000 to Stonewall and Women in Music last year. Back then, €1 is donated for every 1,000 steps made.
