Gameplay

Space Invaders is a classic arcade game that has had a major impact in the video game industry that can be felt even today, its influence touching on games like The Legend of Zelda and Metal Gear series. For the uninitiated, this shooting game has only one goal: to shoot down aliens. So how does that work with the WOWCube?

To play Space Invaders Cubed on the WOWCube, The player must control the cube by tilting and turning it to interact with it as the playing field is scattered around the cube’s six sides. The player’s spacecraft ship moves according to the cube’s built-in accelerometer and gyroscope technology. When the player’s spacecraft parallels with the alien, the ship begins to shoot automatically.

For the player to push away an enemy spacecraft to a remote universe, you can do it by turning the WOWCube. When everything’s set and ready, the player can now head to the remote universe and finally deal with the invader. With this strategy, the player can divide the enemy’s squad and shoot the aliens individually.

Space Invaders Cubed is ideal for developing the player’s strategic thinking and cognitive abilities. The WOWCube also puts a new spin on a much-beloved game. Apart from that, the cube also has other fun games, including Cut the Rope and 2048.

As of this writing, the WOWCube will have pre-ordering soon, so if you’re interested, you can head on to the website and sign up to get a launch day deal of 40%.
