The life of early parenthood is riddled with fears like the baby getting stuck in between the bars of the crib even after putting the baby to bed. Items like baby monitors can definitely come in handy to alleviate those fears. Since their introduction on the market, baby monitors have been slowly evolving with technology, like having a camera that allows parents to check on the baby without disturbing him or her.
Now, a company called Sense-U takes it further with its Baby Monitor 3. Unlike other conventional baby monitors that just have a radio or a camera, the device also checks on the baby’s condition. The device sends notifications to the parents via an app and lets them know if their baby needs them.
"Are you always worried when your
baby is asleep? Especially when they have learnt how
to roll over?
We have the @senseubabymonitor I can have
peace of mind! It track's the baby's abdominal
movement, temperature and when they have
rolled over directly to your phone!"

Monitoring your baby
The early infancy stage can be difficult for parents because they need to keep an eye out for their baby at all times. This can lead to sleepless nights and a lot of anxiety and stress. Sense-U’s Baby Monitor 3 aims to alleviate all that. The device is a clip-on that can be placed on the baby’s diaper. From there, the device would monitor the baby’s temperature and sleeping position directly to your smartphone.

There are other optional devices that can improve the Baby Monitor 3 such as the base station which includes motion detection and a camera to check on your little one virtually. These are all connected via Bluetooth on the Sense-U Baby app that’s available on iOS and Android. The app also includes an option for you to talk to your little one.
"I was recommended to a fellow account to try the @senseubabymonitor for William. A simple app on your phone lets you know baby's breathing, how warm she is, if she rolls onto her front or if she is wiggling and awake. Honestly, it’s a godsend. " @deargracehomeinteriors pic.twitter.com/xAL4ZLgANp

For a worried parent, the Baby Monitor 3 sounds like a godsend, especially for parents who are up and about. Judging from the reviews it has gotten so far, it looks like parents are happy with this device. As for me, I might still get up from my bed to personally check on the baby or constantly look at the app. At least it can help other parents lessen their worries for a bit. For interested parents who need help, the device starts at $199.99.
