Whether it is to keep track of targets and lessons or to jot down a sudden burst of ideas, writing keeps thoughts more organized and accurate. When time is of the essence, listening and writing simultaneously can become quite hectic. It may lead to missing points of discussion. Here’s where Flowtica Scribe, an AI-powered pen, comes in.
Power in writing
Flowtica Scribe captures conversations, highlights key moments with a tap, and transforms them into clear, structured notes. Measuring 151 x 12.7 x 16.3 mm, it’s really just the size of an actual pen that users can take anywhere. As an actual working pen, users can keep writing while the pen does its work in the background. Launched last July via Kickstarter, the pen is also capable of differentiating and labeling speakers. As of this writing, the campaign has garnered $300,000, surpassing its pledge goal of $3,901.

It all starts with a click of a button. The Flowtica Scribe captures a 360° room audio within 5 meters. At the same time, it’s able to minimize the noise within the vicinity with its AI-powered noise reduction and voice separation. The pen can also transcribe speech to text and summarize the recorded audio. By pressing FlowMark during recording, users can mark important parts of discussions by emphasizing the text with bold and italicized font highlighted in yellow so they can go back and review later. Handwritten notes can also be uploaded and synced in the Flowtica app. With Premium and Unlimited memberships, users can access Ask Flowtica Anything, an AI feature designed to provide even smarter assistance.
Cost and shipping
Flowtica Scribe can currently support 39 languages and lasts for about 30 hours of continuous recording. It uses a USB-C fast charger to accommodate more notes and supports cloud uploading based on the user’s subscription. The pen starts at $169 plus delivery fee and taxes, inclusive of the product and 1-year premium membership. For now, it’s available in two colors: silver gray and satin gunmetal. Shipping starts in November this year.
