From drive-ins to movie houses, the way we watch movies has changed over the years. Formats like Blu-ray and IMAX have also improved our immersion when watching films. One brand in the market is soundcore with its newest projector, the Nebula X1 Pro.

Anker’s sub-brand, soundcore, recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Nebula X1 Pro, a mobile 4K projector and 7.1.4 sound system. The portable movie projector comes with wireless microphones, 6.6 ft. retractable power cable, and built-in wheels for easy transport. What’s more, the projector can also be used as a karaoke machine.
Meanwhile, its 7.1.4 speakers offer Dolby Atmos capabilities that ensure multidirectional sound for a more immersive experience, whether for watching TV or belting out a few songs. In addition, while most speakers only offer two basic speakers, soundcore’s Nebula X1 Pro is equipped with four, along with a subwoofer to support lower bass frequencies.
Nebula X1 Pro’s 4K Triple Laser Projection works well with Dolby Vision to provide theater-like visuals. With 3,500 ANSI lumens, the image remains vibrant and clear in most settings, no matter where it is placed. The projector has advanced color technology with over a billion color shades, so the images look realistic.
Entertainment on the go
With its built-in wheels and telescopic handle, Nebula X1 Pro is easy to set up, disassemble, and move around, even at 32.8 kg. Currently, the Kickstarter campaign has reached a total of over $6 million with a few bundles up for grabs. One is the Theater Bundle, which amounts to $3,478 and includes a 10 ft. silent inflatable theater screen and a built-in battery air pump. Meanwhile, the standalone order is priced at $2,999. Global shopping begins this November, with free shipping to the US and Canada.
