Coolest Products of the CES 2016

-

CES 2016 is now finished and with it we managed to get an even better insight into the world of tomorrow, all while seeing some things that were simply breathtaking. There were quite a lot of interesting things at CES this year that simply took my breath away, and here are some of the best.

Samsung Modular TV and LG’s Transparent fridge

I added these two together because they have something in common, they both have a TV. The modular TV is made out of multiple portions that, added up, offer you the ability to watch any show you want on a large screen. It’s an amazing experience all around and a refined one. The transparent fridge also includes an LCD and this time it allows you to see the inside of your fridge or watch your favorite TV stations if you so desire.

Chevrolet 2017 BOLT EV

I rarely get impressed by cars, but a Chevy electric car is definitely amazing to say the least. I like that Tesla paved the way and more manufacturers think about electric cars. This car is inexpensive when compared to other models and it does include some neat features such as a widescreen and many safety tools as well.

Ehang 184 Passenger Drone

Seeing a drone at CES is not uncommon, but seeing one that can actually take passengers is just out of this world. It surely is very expensive, true, and it’s also suitable only for one man flights, but let’s face it, the ability of going from one place to another is just insane and I do wonder if this will be the way we will use transportation in the future or if it’s just a rich guy toy!

Faraday & Future FFZero1 Concept

This concept car managed to deliver a great design and a ton of cool features. It looks and feels like a batmobile, and even if it might not enter mass production, it still is a very refined and exotic car that hopefully will get translated into a product for the masses in the near future.

LG’s Rollable Display

Last year LG did tease the fact that they are going to create a rollable display and in 2016 they actually did it. Even though it’s not 100% rollable as there are a few components that stick out on the outside, it’s still a tech marvel to be honest and I really love the design and the way you can take it with you wherever you want. This is definitely the portable TV of the future and I am really excited to see how the model will evolve in the near future.

Summary

As you can see, there were lots of cool gadgets and items at CES 2016, and as always I was very impressed with the stuff presented here. We can only imagine what will happen next year, but in the meantime we have the ability to appreciate and even buy some of the items presented at this year’s edition!
