The Electric Wheelchair Handcycle attachment is the brainchild of Cnebikes, a Chinese company that specializes in mid-drive electric bikes, electric bike supplies, e-scooters, and the like. This attachment runs on a 36V 250-350W electric motor. It has a lithium battery that is a 36V 10.4Ah thunder type for the motor. This is accompanied by its corresponding charger (AC 100V-240V, 2amps smart charger/42V 2A charger).
This has an aluminum alloy frame and one Innova 12 ½ x 2.4 tire. Of course, breaks on this is a must-have, so Cnebikes has added a dual disc-brake and a hand brake. The gadget has a front LED light with a horn and an LCD5 display. You control the entire attachment with a 17A 6pcs MOSFET (metal-oxide-semiconductor-field-effect transistor) intelligent controller and a half-twist throttle.
The entire thing weighs 14kg and can support forward speeds at 3 levels (12, 16, and 20 km/h) and one backward speed (6km/h). According to user reviews, one full battery charge will get you up to 25kms.
The price tag on this is by no means a paltry one. However, this is a good investment if you want electric wheelchair capabilities without actually buying an electric wheelchair.
