No matter who you are, or what you do, we can all agree that our smartphones are incredibly important. They are an essential part of our everyday lives and it’s common sense that we’d like to keep them protected at all times. If you’re not into your typical average phone case, and you’re looking for something a bit more reliable, maybe it’s time to take a look at the BeraShield 2 phone case.
Smart Guardians, Inc. created BeraShield as the ‘total protection system for smartphones’. In essence, it’s the whole package, as it consists of a pure titanium case, wireless battery pack, and fast charger. BeraShield has been around for a few years now, and they’ve decided to launch their second Kickstarter this year for the BeraShield 2. BeraShield 2 also features the same three fundamental things as its predecessor.
What its made off
This case is handmade and constructed with aerospace-grade titanium. It is said to be four times stronger than bulletproof carbon fiber-polycarbonate material. Thanks to this, the BeraShield case is said to offer military-grade drop protection.
Needless to say, this magnetic wireless battery pack is also entirely waterproof, and even attaches and charges your phone underwater. Just make sure that your phone is waterproof too.
The battery features eight neodymium magnets which ensures that it securely attaches to the BeraShield case. The magnets in the battery pack are arranged in a particular fashion, which means that it does not affect the phone’s functionality at all.
Unique design
The BeraShield case is slim and features a minimalist design, as it only hugs the back and corners of the phone, thus making it easy to hold. It is a perfect alternative to phone users who don’t usually like the feel of bulky phone cases.
And thanks to its small size, it doesn’t obstruct your phone’s rear camera. The fact that it is only a mere 12.3 mm in thickness also means that it’s hardly noticeable when it’s attached to your phone. This makes it incredibly easy to continue using your phone as you usually would. This BeraShield battery pack also supports 15W fast-charging, as well as normal 10W charging.
The BeraShield charger has a multifunctional mount, which also features eight neodymium magnets and charges wirelessly. This charger can be mounted on a wall, in your car, or simply sit on your table.
Something impressive to note about the BeraShield charger is that it is also capable of charging your phone, with the BeraShield battery pack attached to your phone. This means that it can simultaneously charge both the battery and your phone.
What’s the difference between BeraShield and BeraShield 2?
In essence, the BeraShield 2 total protection system isn’t all that different. The brand has just made some slight improvements. For example, BeraShield 2 includes more phone cases to fit more phone models. Right now, the brand is now compatible with phones like Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi. The list is quite extensive, but be sure to check whether they cater to your phone model.
Aside from that, the BeraShield 2 has an aluminum table stand for their charger. Their previous option to ‘mount’ the charger to your table by simply laying it flat. Now, this table stand allows you to still have easy access to your phone while it’s charging on your table.
As of this writing, the Kickstarter for BeraShield 2 was a complete success, surpassing the goal with over $180,000. Those who have contributed to the BeraShield 2 Kickstarter can look forward to receiving their items this May and June.
