I am pretty interested in the advance of smart cities and their benefits. I don’t think it is science-fiction or far future thinking at all. I believe there will be very soon a lot more smart devices in cities all connected to a city system, providing more safety and better living. Sunnyvale, in the community of Cupertino, in California could be considered part of Silicon Valley and would definitely be a good pilot area for smart city technology testing in my opinion. In this video you can watch David Jensen, IT Director for the City of Sunnyvale, talking about this very subject in detail. Do you agree? Not agreeing? Have we learned nothing from Skynet and Watch Dogs? I’d love to hear about your personal thoughts in the comments below. Thanks for watching!
