Drones are pretty big in news and on all kinds of social media segments right now. Regardless of the fact that they are quiet cool and bring the average joe a lot closer to aviation technologies, sometimes they lack enterprise and industry usefulness.
Some professional drones are built for media production with a focus on high quality video capture but what about other industries? Sky-Futures for example built a case for drones to inspect oil and gas production facilities. This should certainly make the inspections a lot more effective and a lot safer for the staff too. A nice idea and well designed solution in our books.
