TU Delft Is Working on Self-Healing Concrete [Video]

I’ve seen some great things happening at TU Delft before, but this new concept video was stunning in a very special way. The idea and design of having concrete and other street building material is amazing. The video as well is very nicely produced, by Pepijn Berghout, and they successfully manage to communicate very detailed information in this comic style, which somewhat makes me think want to call it an animated infographic. The concept itself is great and definately performance based infrastructures with high traffic volumes could benefit from this being implemented. This is the kind of thing the TU Delft university excels in. If you enjoy this kind of sciences and designs, you should definitely consider subscribing to their YouTube channel. Enjoy!
