Develop Your Brain by Playing Video Games [Video]

-

Tired of the “ban all the killer games” narrative? I call BS. Personally, I am happy to report that most of my English skills (as a second language) derived from playing video games to a large degree. But that’s not very objective now, is it?

There are some people who actually know what they are talking about and invest their time to facilitate scientific research about video games. In this TED Talk, cognitive researcher, Daphne Bavelier, shares her findings of how fast-paced action games can have a positive impact on your brain and help us learn, focus, multitask, and collaborate in a team.
